I have 2x12'' 1000w SVC's running off a 2000w amp wot will b the best enclosure for SPL in my Jetta3 at the moment i have a sealed enclosure but i'm not getting much pressure in the cabin should i try a slotted port enclosure * +

it just depends what you like, but i wud go for a ported box, if u didnt like the sound u can get port plugs from vibe to seal the ports, so your ported box will be turned into a sealed box, * +

I would also go for a portd enclosure,because i believe its more tunable,u can play with port lenght to get the enclosure to play the frequency dat yields the highst spl. * +

What size enclosure u using at the moment? Best setup 4 2 12s is gna be a 400by400by 900 wide... Use one 6 inch port between the 2 12s and make sure u get them as close 2 one-another as possible... Db-wise u gna pick up if u play around with ur port length and position of the box... Personally on the setup u running u not gna get 140s on thermlab... I suggest u get a bigger amp... U running? Dnt tell me 8gauge plz! What deck u using? If u have the black starsound svcs its good enough but prefer cromes... We building a g3 with 4 chromes and 6800 digital amplifier that we gna play @ team sliwer's sound-off in alberton this w-end... * +

Ive got 2 2 12'' triangles in the same box mentioned above with a 6800 silwer amp running 0 gauge power cable...got sony double din 4 show and starsound 200r deck 4 spl... Doing around 145.2 on thermlab... I have my own soundshoppe called play audio...watch this space... * +

There is something u can try,depends on how serious u are about sound...cut a piece as big as ur portsize out of your backseats backside and cover it with carpet then play the box into the car with port matching the hole... Amp wise u dnt need to go haywire as i think a 2500 gladiator would do the job... Can run 2ohm stable on that amp... I think ur running 4ohm,am i right? * +

Nah i'm using 2ohm monoblock n my subs r square shape ice power n my box is 400x600x800 wit 2guage power cable * +
