Yeah,time to get to top end will decrease. But ur top will decrease,because the lighter flywheel has less inertia(resistance to change of motion) so at high speeds it will require more force to keep it spining and there is less force left to increase its speed,so would lighter flywheel ur topend will decrease a lil. * +

Yep,Perfectly explained,just want to know an approx figure of the most your top end may decrease by,under 10 k's? Wit a big reduction in flywheel weight,nowadays top end hardly matters,it all about the quarter mile,top end speeds are just figures to boast about * +

not alot of strips can cater for top end runs plus its still to be decided if such runs should continue, theres claimed safety risks. Any updated info on this? I heard about this a while back. *
