Yea you can fill the scratch with with base then clear let dry for at least 6hr the wet sand with 2000 an buff take ur time doing the base an clear the beter u do it the beter the results * +

Wot arta said.depends how deep though,if just clear coat,rub black shoe polish n remove excess so only da scratch is fild wit it.Let dry n den begin wet sandin wit a fine grit til black mark is gone * +

Keys ushaly reach the primer becouse of the force it requires to scatch an thay dig realy well ! if ur in va let me know beglad to lend a hand in the repair i have a ppg mixn station at the shop an a zap color gun for xsact match ! * +

I like dat clearcoat sandin plan of u too sowicked! It so often happens that 1 flat thru d clear into d base nd den u fkd it up. Il remember d black polish thing. *
