My sis car is d. I just serviced it last week and yesterday when she got home the car was burning hot. Waterpump totally done. sum oil pushed out at the head and tappit cover. So obviously it needs a new waterpump and head gasket and tapid cover gasket. What i want to know is if there may be a blockage in the block? Or there may b a crack in the head? * +

Flush th cooling system n yeah there might b damage. If it was really hot then cud b warped or cracked head. Hav it tested at engineers. * +

Already flushed the system last time the water boiled every time after a 20min drive. Worked then but dont know for how long cause my sis duznt bother 2 check anything. Can u do a engine swap while ur car is still under finance? I think this is a kak type motor, a motor from a mazda soho would save alota probs waitin 2 hapen. * +

A friend of mine had his fiesta motor replaced by ford. Also overheated n ford said it was factory fault but we suspect mechanic left sump nut loose cos incident occured immediately after dealership serviced it. * +

If th water boiled last time it cudv damaged head which wil cause it 2 overheat even after u flushed th system. Take head in 4 pressure test at engineers. * +

If u properly flushed th system n water is flow is normal then there is no blockage. * +

What fiesta does ur friend hav? this is the 1.4i flair bodytype. This wasnt due to the service, i used to overtight stuff, but after breaking a few bolts i make sure not to go overboard. I think its the head. * +
