6mm how long wil that box last.use 16mm super wood 4 spl with a slot port.u can even seal the box in side with fibre glass.if u put cotton wool in the sub just thinks its in a large box.but u will not always get more bass * +

My sub would actually break 6mm mdf! Im ting 16mm birch ply which is alot stiffer. Look on the sub makers site for the capacity an box type recommendations then build accordingly * +
