if its vented correctly it wil b more efficient n more spl. sealed boxes normally give smoother bass. * +

Pack it with cotton wool and have it ported. Use 6mm MDF to keep it light (apart from the sub mounting face sheet - use 12mm there),with strengthening strip glued in the inner edges. Also,subs work better facing up,and in a box flat on its back - a common mistake is to have them up facing sideways. * +
