hey guys,i have a toyota 20valve blacktop,i recently installed an adjustable exhaust cam gear,i wld just like some info as to how and to what extent i cld use this gear to improve performance,and could somebody pls just tell me in laymans terms exactly what this cam gear can do to the timing.i need to know everything bout this gear,thanx in advance guys. * +

Don't know much but all i know is that doin de cams on a 20v,increases performance mega,this one guy put toda cams n throttl's n became m3 killa,n they will change your timing,makin cams shorter,changes de degree on valve clearance so pistons will fire at new faster time * +

i think you are refering to venier cam pullies. what you do with them is fine tune cam timing. they can make a small diffs but without longer duration cams dont have a big effect. it would be dumb to do cams on a 20v as you loose the whole idea of vvti. *
