Yes, the 16v will be more economical and will give better performance higher up the rev range, while the 8v will have more torque and heavier on fuel but more responsive. The 16v engine will also be smoother. I dont think u'd have to change the stroke but maybe ud hav to do some changes on the fuel injection+ computer.What type of engine is it? * +

That all depends on wat type of motor u wana do the change on.. Some motors need valvepockets on the pistonheads, others dont. Also, r u gona hav to change from carb to f.i? Tell me d model of ur car nd i wud b able to give betr detail. * +
