I drive a 91 jetta csx 1800, the problem i have is that i get a severe smell of exhaust gasses inside the car, when i put my hand over the exhaust the engine either cut out or my hand is pushed away, so that tels me my exhaust and gaskets is fine, i replaced my tapet cover gasget, so no oil is leaking on the manifold, all i can think of is that my fuel/air mixture is too rich, but why wil i get * +

I gave my brother inlaw a call, he is quite the expert on vw. The solution is quite simple, my boot rubers is a bit torn, the gas get s*cked in through the boot. * +

This kind of thing happend to me once i braught a car an b4 i baught it it had subs in the boot an the previous owner had taken them out. Every time i drove the car the boot would fill up with fuel like 4 literz! The idiot had screwd the sub box down to the boot floor an screw wen st into tank! * +

A lad cald me d otha day.. Said he hav built him nice sound into his car, now his car dnt wana start nd wat cud b d prob. I told him to bring it nd i wud check d prob out. After sum quick checks i found that d car wasnt gettin fuel to injector rail.. Wit great amu t i found that he took d live wire from d tanks submerceble pump to give power to d amp! Wonda wot he was thinken.. * +
