There are a lot of folk in SA that post, but then there are also a lot of people who just blatantly lie about everything. I'm sure if the insurance was more than the cars worth they wouldn't have it, but you may find that people pay monthly instead of annually which makes it more manageable for them. Then you also don't know their true age, their occupation, where they live etc which all has an * +

impact on how much you pay. Also if they have no claims, how long they have been driving, any accidents, any convictions. If they have others on their policy. Where the car is kept overnight, how many miles they do per annum, if its third party or fully comp and if they have it just for social, pleasure and domestic or if they have commuting etc * +

yep totally agree, i am very lucky i drive a wrx sti import red top impreza with every thing declared (engine mod's etc) and i pay 430 a year * +

Im 21,I live in Johannesburg and its a black car with that little b*tch of a word 'turbo' that they say influence my insurance! I have a fkn advanced driving course behind my back,i drive better then most ppl in sa! Its just insane... * +

think you'll find i'm refering to the people who say they drive a veyron at 16 and that. Not that people pay more than the cars worth to insure it, because that does happen. You would do well to learn english and read properly * +
