well since i hav 2 take out my g.box 4 a clutch replacement i was wonderin how hard it wud b 2 install a 2jz-gte engine n g.box and wud i hav 2 get the supra diff 2?...just thoughts at present...figured if i cant get a j*p import i can build summin different... * +

also who is best 4 buildin a cooler n plumbing in Jhb area? and wud the 318is suspension cope wif that heavy engine or shud i try n source a set of coil overs if i can afford doin the conversion? * +

no its not pretty straight forward, yes u would need the supra diff. everything needs to suit that motor and g box. its not as easy as pulling one out and inserting the other. * +

If you want a faster car buy 1. Conversion lead to problems. Check the auto trader guys spend thousands modifying their cars only to sell it cheap l8r. * +

i look at it this way...the car has lost all its value already so its a toy now...if i sell it i lose as it is so i mite as well keep it n play around...if they cud shove a 2jz in a s2000 i can shove it in a e36...either 2jz or wat bout the 330d engine?...but imma gonna b honest i wud love 2 c the confused look on m3 drivers faces wen i smoke m wif a toyota badged e36

where is arnie? he'll kno wat 2 do...i think i cud use the std bmw diff n then just adapt the bmw g.box 2 fit the 2jz...anyway there a guy just round the corner building a 2jz mazda drifter so a bmw conversion is possible n cant b that hard...there is space 4 it * +
