Then i dont need a cause i dont gather bad... Lmao! No serious, mk1 golfs had their up nd downs. They were great cars in the early 70's when they 1st saw light. I also luvd the power of the mid 80's gti nd gts. They were cool! The vw made one of the biggest legends with golf2 gti but spoilt it by nt takin mk1 from the market. ...was still ok, but the shuttle, chico, citi.com, deco, velocity and all the others were rip offs. I admit that it was due to popular demand that the mk1 was still produced but cudnt they keep it cheap? In 93 a shuttle costs u a woppin 38k wereas u cud buy a meteor sedan for 29k! Not to mention the 1.8R that costs 120k now... Vdubs generally have strong engines and so it is with d citis as well.. * +

Ooo this is going to open a can of worms now...I had a golf sonic 1.3 carb when i finished school. I worked it a bit...Freeflow with branch...My friend had a 1.6i toyota corola at the same time...My 1300 carb used to give him a hiding from robot to robot time and again... * +
