So i recently bought a Citroen C2. Its a 2005 model 1.1. I bought it for the sole purpose of modifying it. Got sound in it. Waiting on my rims but i am no mechanic or engine expert but the sound it makes when you rev is like a vacuum cleaner. Any ideas how i can alter that? Some people say free flow exhaust system. Others say an engine upgrade. Any ideas guys? I just want it to sound like a car and not a cleaning instrument lol * +

A 1.1 will always sound lije a vacuum cleaner, it doesnt blow enough exhaust gasses out to sound like sonething else * +

Lol it was just for experiment sake. Had extra cash and thought id buy a car and just go ape sh...t on it. My primary car is a Golf 5. I must say the fuel consumption is so very low on the Citroen * +

Can you make the 1.1 TU engine sound like a small block V8? No 
so don't even bother trying, it's annoying and anti social. 4 cylinders for the vast majority all sound pretty boring. That's life. *
