Not to sure how fast it is yet , I mean there a aerodynamic brick so ya never gonna get past 130mph or want too .
60mph feels like what 240 mph must feel like in a veyron .
The sence of speed is great , road legal slicks n no body roll mean it's like a go kart for the road .
It leeps to 100mph in no time at all ... Then you slow down back to 60-70 because the winds blowing you out the window .
But iv not put my foot down vs any other cars yet to get a real sence of its pace .
But really feel the want for more bhp from it * +

It's got a 1.6 Vauxhall 8v ohc , dead cheep n cheerful engine .
It's had its head ported n polished by blydenstein and fast road cams fitted , got a power graph showing 130bhp ...

Do you think there's any thing else that you could do to gain more bhp or would it be New engine swop ? * +

Nice one bob. 130bhp shouldn't be too bad in a car that weighs only slightly more than fuck all. I had the chance to have a go in a Caterham R250 a couple of years ago but i'm too tall and couldn't fit in it.poor.gif
The modern factory spec models use 1.6l or 2.0l ford engines, the R650 uses a supercharged 2.0l ford duratec lump pushing out 310bhp, which makes 0-60 in under 3secs and kicks it up the arse all the way to 155mph.omfg.gif * +

You could stick a Honda fireblade motorcycle engine in it. * +

I looked at bike engines but a expert said not ideal 10,000 rpm sounds great but because there not aerodynamic as you climb up the power band the resistance fights it .
Torque is what's needed , low down grunt .

Mite pay it off for a year or two then look into a 2lt cheep upgrade . Ford or Vauxhall

Real good fun as is mind
