You get motorcycle enthusiasts, and you get bikers. Motorcycle enthusiasts are people that only like bikes and maybe ride them, a biker is a person that live for his bike, his bike is his 2nd love, just after his wife, a biker gives to people in need by attending charity runs rally's etc that donate to people in need, a real biker won't leave his fellow bikers on the road, weather he knows the person or not, he also obeys the biker code, (which I will cover at a later stage). * +

to answer both of your questions, let me start off by saying, here where we stay it doesnt matter what bike you ride, weather its a 50 cc or a 1900 you are a biker if you ride bike and your heart and soul is in the right place. * +

What hogwash about anything under 1000cc being gay,you would be able to handle a 600cc sport bike let alone a 1000cc,sport bikes over the last decade or so are barely street legal machines,I started on a ninja 250r and after 8 months moved onto a Daytona 675,fking insanely different for a newbie like myself * +
