On my 2005 nissan almera the park lights and brights are together in the large reflector, but the dims are totally separate with two separate lights? I'm sure this is incorrect? Don't the park and dims always work together, with the brights being separate??? * +

wtf is a park light or brights or dims? Stupid americanism which makes no sense as usual. Sidelights and dipped headlights work together but they hardly have to be in the exact same reflector. Plenty of vehicles have the main beam and sidelights together in the same reflector. * +

Wasn't rude. Ask a stupid question and all that though tea what difference does it make which reflector they are in? Plainly none. Use. Brain. * +

again...I was tawt that no question is a stupid question, and the reason I asked in the first place is that in ALL the previous cars I have owned, the side and dipped lights were in the same reflector.with the high beam separate, and secondly because with the current configuration,my dipped lights are very poor and the main beam too bright!!! HENCE the reason for the stupid question??? * +

But you didnt ask why you think your lights are not very good..... If that is a legit problem then try alternative bulbs and check that you have good lenses on the headlight ie not fogged, and that they are properly aligned by consulting a local mechanic.... * +

that I will indeed have checked, but before I do that the reason for asking initially was so I could ascertain, maybe from someone owning the same vehicle,if the previous owner maybe fiddled with the light configuration?? if so,I could, before spending money, check on that first.....? * +
