I've got an accord and yesterday I thought I would floor it, was in second and changed just before limiter into 3rd, it went in ok but revs went down to 3k and were building very slowly. Went back to second and tried 3rd again which was hard to engage and when I did I found that it goes in diagonally towards 1st now and the slot to get it into has shrunk lol : * +

Inside the gearbox is dirt and sc*m so the synchronizer won't shift to 3rd to gear you need to clean inside the gearbox * +
