after a while on motorway at around 80mph engine management light comes on and car loses power and won't hit more than 80! after a while all is ok again except now the car feels sluggish accelerating * +

Do the old paperclip trick n see what codes it brings up,if it is just the maf make sure u buy a good quality genuine one,don't buy cheap mafs * +

U could try cleaning it with electrical contact cleaner but if it's really old its best to stick a new one in * +

put your foot on brake and the accelerator to the floor and turn ignition on but Dont start it then count how many flashes you get on the dash so it Will be like flash then stop then its the next number and it Will do this 4 times *
