My battery died so I bought a new one 6 months ago, but now my car is sometimes hard to start on random days even though I've done same milage every day. Is that the battery or something else? * +

i hav the same prob with my alfa 156 2.4jtd if i dont drive it every day it wont start ie if its parked up 2day it wont start in the mornig im on my 4th battery in 4 an half years i just keep 1 charged in the boot with a rac battery chager * +

could be a few things check if your battery terminals are fastened tightly also check if your earth from the battery has good contact with the body and get your battery and alternator tested they do it free at most battery centers * +

Used to hav that problem. Turned out my bootlid switch was faulty, keeping the boot (trunk) light on. * +
