extra air means extra fuel,as for the noise part depends on how old you are. * +

It kinda sounds nyc on a vw. Open ur air box just alil, place the filter on the lip of the square air box and rev the car to get an idea of the sound. * +

Thank you for all the replies, the sound we after is almost like a standard VR6 enjin sound , I'm giving the car to my son and he wants to add cone, bbs mags ect * +

Dont get an induction kit, Polos dont like them. A KN Panel filter will improve breathing and at around 35 its a veritable bargain. Airflow can be further improved by drilling the airbox if you want to. I would also recommend a Scorpion cat-back exhaust system which not only burbles beautifully, but along with the air filter makes for a much smoother drive and a keener response to your right foot. * +
