1 of my gearbox bolts hav broken off and a part still is in the hole and now thrs a small space btween gearbox nd engine causing knocking sounds whn driving. I wanna loosen the cv joint and bore the rest of the bolt out of the hole and thn jst fasten the gearbox nd engine together again with a new bolt. Will it wrk or do i need 2 do sumthng else also. Any advice wll b helpfull * +

Depends really, a55 uming that its just a shorn bolt and not threaded it'll be better than leaving it as it is thats for sure! * +

I blieve its threaded bt it has 2 come out and replaced cause wth all the knocking sounds coming out whn im driving im gonna damage my gearbox or sumthng. Any advice on how 2 do it easily nd wht nt 2 do * +

Threaded? Sure? you can always try cutting a notch in it and removing it with a screwdriver, or similar with a ratchet. Worst comes to worst is just drilling it out and rethreading. hardly a disaster * +

I think the knocking caused that bolt 2break off and not the othr way around,open up * +

im still stuck wth above mentiond prob in a town with no mechanics. The garage wnts a deposito wich i dnt have. Cn u blieve it. Anyway cn the prob mayb b with the cv joint *
