vtec doesn't adapt. It suddenly deeds more fuel to your motor if you accelerate hard. Vvti adapts, it checks the driving style and slowly changes to feed fuel for power or less power. And one more thing, VVTi s*cks! Fuel consumption is just bull . * +

Neither vvti nor vtec got anytin to do with adapting fuel! Both of em work thru d valvetrain. Vvti adapts valvetiming at higher rpm's. Vtec uses oilpresure to shift d cams forth n rear allowing d camprofile to change at higher rpms. So yea that y vtec is more performance effective than vvti. *
