Myself and mates used 2 take a fishing shelter (like half a massive umbrella with fitted ground sheet) and pitch right at fence, and that was our base 4 full day, could leav our gear in it an go wanderin round pits etc... If u aint fast u'll struggle all day 4 decent view, crowds r 3 and 4 deep all around the track... * +

Pack a decent brolly, wear plenty layers and water proofs, decent boots 2... Take ur own food an drink unless u wanna Q for hours... Take loo roll cos toilets were shockin (might be better nowadays) good view either side of hairpin with plenty action. Take plenty cash if u want merchandise, shop around stalls an find bargains... * +

We only ever got decent weather once at the touring cars (can't remember wot yr) every1 got burnt alive, the clubhouse ran dry and they turned the water off in toilets so folk wouldn't drink it... No water means no flush and the toilets were stinkin... Got a gr8 pic of my nephew standin between jimmy an alistaire mccrae. The sound of the old F1 car doin laps and the stunt plane were amazin... * +

No need 2 rough it if u go prepared... If u aint got a car pa55 2 get ur car in2 the circuit ur gonna hav 2 park and ride (leav ur car in farmers field an travel last cpl miles on bus) try an park ur car near gate cos if it rains field turns 2 mud bath an tractors gotta pull u out... *
