What is those hollow plastic chambers on the intake pipes of certain cars?usualy between the aircleaner and intake manifold.a hollow plastic thing sticking out.is it to reduce intake noise?doesnt it restict airflow? * +

Itsa dampner n yes it restricts airflow so if u goin CAI replace dat pipe aswel wit mandrel bent pipe * +

Does it serve the same purpose on 2 stroke bikes? Mine has a crack and is making an air leak. want to just block it of,since its just to reduce noise? * +
