I dont know about turbos as i only do N/A but to say ive taken my individually sports bike carb'd and heavily ported 16v unit to 12.5:1 and i can still run 95ron without it being rich,throwing its stock rods or cast pistons,or melting anything. Even with a turbo it must depend on the engine,as the boost pressure will be higher in the manifold than the combustion chamber,thanks to bottle-necks like the ports and valves. * +

(Sorry for the double post) ..taking the deck height down to match the rod length,but for the necessary margin to create the desired comp ratio. With that bore/stroke i expect you're not far out with 2mm. Mine's 1600cc with a 76.5mm bore and it was near 1mm taller piston crown to up it from 11.5:1 to 12.5:1. *
