What minor crashes u knw hav resulted in major financial implications? On wat car and what part? My dad smashed hs left mirror ONLY on hs Merc GL320. It cost him R18000 which i think is excessive. Sold the car immediately afta it had been fixed. Some lecturer at varsity lost his Bmw 745i keys.Had 2 pay R22000 for replacements. What other horror stories hav u heard? * +

No idea rand to pound? But my mazzer got reversed into by a merc s class, cost 10,000 to fix as cars hand built and leaded paint, so all had to be done at Ferrari by specialist coachworker filled and entire side resprayed at cost of 150 hr at Ferrari , ouch ! But his insurance :) * +

Funny part is the left mirror is quite cheaper than the right mirror. Apparently the guys said the right mirror wud hav been R23000. Sumthng 2 do wit a special non sun reflecting glass. * +
