right , merc sprinter has had leaky injectors or sumate like that and the engines got full of a black desile sort of limescale that basicaly has written the thing off. thing is the alluminium luton back on it is big and esential for the job the van does. not seen any for sale that size . question is how hard is it to buy new van and put old box onto it ? * +

should the shop buy new van with smaller box making life harder or buy new van and put old box on it . whats cheeper easier opption ? * +

Buy the same size chassis cab an use ur old box, not a hard job 2 change, a few mates and a forklift would make life easier... Why buy a smaller van if its gonna struggle ? * +

Used 2 drive an old transit luton 4 a firm yrs ago, up a hill into a head wind an u were down 2 1st gear (even on motorway) lol * +

Doubt ford or fiat will hav exact same mountin points, i took it u were goin 4 another sprinter... Should still fit ok with a bit of tinkerin, don't kno if ford or fiat dealer will volunteer 2 fit it, might need 2 take van away an get an independent garage 2 fit it 4 ya... Still a cheaper option tho * +
