depends on the driver but i would say the scooby would take it but i would still rather own the s3 you can tune them so much a friend of mine has a 2001 reg s3 running about 400hp very very quick car lovely to drive aswell * +

New s3 also has the fancy 4wd system that engages the rear wheels only when the front wheels lose grip so it doesnt steal so much power * +

Which scooby r u talkn bout? If u talkn bout da hatch bck scoob its about 223kw vs 188kw S3 (bout 193kw if its da sportback s3), da scoob is far superior all round, if u goin 4 betta luks n affordability da S3 takes da cake. * +

They arnt even in da same league Scoob is in da same category (price n performance) as Evo x hatch nd 135i beemer. All these cars gt ova 220kw standard nd r bout 50 - 100 000 Rands mor expensiv dan the S3. * +
