Which one would you pick just out of curiousity? Both produce 155kw of power,but difference being the MINI does it in a 1.6l Supercharged engine and GTI in a 2.0l turbocharged (please correct me if im wrong), Mini does 0-100 in just 6.94secs not sure bout GTI, both are around the same price it seems, so which would you take? * +

Personaly id take the Mini John Cooper Works, ive always loved them for the fact they are so funky and rare, and the handling is just incredible (judging frm drivin a mates Cooper S so i a55 ume JCW is better) ,although i do like the GTI. * +

If were talking the current r56 cooper works then it's turbo charged. Mini changed from super chargers to turbo chargers which many have complained about. The jcw is an amazing bit of kit. I had that on my 2002 cooper s they are very quick however I would go for the gti with dsg. If however just on fun and looks the cooper s is a beauty I would rather they had kept it supercharged tho * +

The new jcw does 0-62 mph in 6.5 seconds. I prefer the prev jcw and especially the GP that was a beast of a car. Nowt rarer than 1000 world wide * +

The jcw minis are built as a normal mini then sent to jcw factory to have what the customer request done. Then it's supplied from them to the dealership and your given a certificate of authenticity. You can have a cooper or cooper s converted at any point. When the new mini first launched there was no jcw avalible but there are still cars with it fitted. You can also opt for loads if options.
