I calculated my car repayments and insurance together to see if it would fit into my lifestyle without affecting my comfort level first and then i purchased my car! no regrets since :) i'm stil able to save for any hidden costs on the car and shop for the lil luxuries in life * +

Be practical an buy a small hatch bak, jazz it up with alloys/sound system etc and enjoy a couple yrs hassle free cheap motorin whilst building an insurance history, then eventually step up 2 ur dream car... And tryin 2 convince urself and us that ur gonna toddle around town at no more than 40 in a 2 seater sports car while the local 'rich kids' smoke u away from every set of lights is just silly * +

Lol t get back to the classic insurance end of tings.. Im in roi so i dunno how or if any different to ni but..... 25 is d age limit for classic insurance main or named driver on dat policy so watever way u want to look at it or do yourself if u get an mr2 ur prob gona hav t insure it as normal till ur old enuf or as i said b4 get the 3rd party vover i mentioned before. Dats how it works. I wasnt able t get cover on it cos im under 25 bt nw i can drive it under my own insurance. * +

Educational post! lol recurv should hold seminars for high school kids who dream of fancy cars but dont know wat it takes to keep it running lol. Unless u wanna eat bread and jam for the rest of your life :p * +

I have a getz now and at my age my insurance is a bit hectic but when i'm older I'll look at getting a better car. If i were to get wat i really wanted (Mini cooper) my insurance would prob be more than my car installments lol *
