My 1.6 16v 1985 VW Polo runs quarter mile in 14.4 seconds - and it has a standard 1997 spec 1.4 16v cast iron exhaust manifold. You need back pressue,and exhausts are overrated. Sure,i only have one box,but its only a 45mm system. * +

If you want the thing to shift,forget a 1.4. Stick a 2.0 16v in there - you can pull one out a Vectra for the price of a tubular manifold. *
