bmw pull out and no wonder cost so much is dull in comparison to other motor sport and gives nowt in return. i say a super saloon world series. like f1 except road like race cars . big budgets big performance. honda acords, bmw 3 series, toyotas , original shapes big areo packages and masive bhp. * +

infact heres whats id do . original manufactured chassies , 1200kg min wieght, production engine position and capacity , production driven wheels , unlimited bhp !!!!! but with a catch . road leagle production cut slicks tyres . no racing slicks! so a 2.5 fwd mondeo road car has to be a 2.5 fwd race car , except for wings and 600 bhp . a race series that hopefully would influence car production * +

unlimited bhp would mean they have to balance power against grip and reliability also makes fuel options intresting for desail and bio fuels . * +

i agree...but wat about a prototype race class. picture this lexus racing the lfa prototype to conduct rd for the the production version...against a new generation nsx etc * +

Prototype would defeat the purpose. I like bobs idea. If it wasnt for this type of racing the Superboss or 325is or M3 would not have been made. Now just make it big like f1 * +
