does anyone know what the situation is with getting updated to ics? people who aren't rooted, I just read that 10.7 percent of androids have it, nobody seems to talk about it anymore this is definitely making me think twice about getting another android. * +

I. have jus dun mine thru my pc companion...i am usin xperia arc s, dont kno if this will help, I jus plugged my phone in to pc via usb, opened the pc conpanion and it came up wiv update * +
