I posted the same in your original thread, it will work fine. The widfire S has exactly the same rom size and that has GB and sense 2.1. * +

Proves that memory wasn't the issue, they were trying to push people to get the newer devices, and with all the abuse they got on FB and Twitter the backlash could have affected sales. * +

Yep, their are cutting out some apps in the Desires GB update, but will make them downloadable from Android Market: http://is.gd/7GbRnw what a terbulant end to the Desire, sounds like sumthng Motorola would have had issues with. * +
