on the sgs, took an age to do, stupid clockwork mod being a pain but i ended up downgrading to eclair and using kies to get gingerbread and then rooted it with odin, only then could i apply the cynagen mod. Worth it? Yes! * +

sometimes clockwork recovery goes wrong, in this case it failed to verify the integrity of the zip archive for the c7 mod, so i had to go round the world for a shortcut to get a working cwm recovery, then during the install the screen went funny, just a billion tiny coloured dots, i was very afraid until the c7 logo appeared, phee! * +

just a heads up for anyone who's just installed it, if your battery starts to die quicker, it's due to the display brightness, take it off automatic as the ambient light sensor doesn't seem to be working right (on the sgs anyway), took me a while to figure that one out, now my battery lasts the normal length of time lol * +
