Yes one review I Was reading mentioned that. There is a firmware update for the s2. I got my update a few days ago. Unsure if that will help with the wi-fi issue? * +

mthe wifi issue is wifi sharing eats battery for fun even when wifis off, the new firmware doesnt fixthis... some have said they have weak wifi coNnectio.... i dont have this issue * +

Well I wouldnt have thought it should be a major problem because 9 times out of 10 you are going to be close to a hotspot anyway. If your not then it would be pointless accessing it in the first place. A hopspot with a low signal equals slow speed. *
