Just cancelled my Defy to get this , its pretty much an upgrade ayt but am not sure if I made a good decision :/ What do you guys think about it? * +

Donno but its got SC-LCD instead of S-AMOLED in the I9000 and few other hardware changes. * +

@vandit did a lil research and its certainly not the Galaxy S plus (I9003) , I9003 features a bigger battery , increased ram , lesser internal mem and a slightly similar cpu over the original Galaxy S I9000. * +

Its the i9003 Galaxy SL: http://is.gd/eipuSG its basicaly a Galaxy S with a weaker GPU, but larger battery, not bad at all, its got the same CPU as the Motorola Milestone2 and Droid X: TI OMAP3630 CPU with PowerVR SGX530 GPU, it also has TV-Out lol, not bad at all, better than the Defy. * +

But beware samsung are penny for not updating thier handsets to latest versions. And this phone doesn't got much developers support and if you search on net for this phone most of results will include galaxy S not this galaxy. So its not better to me * +

@polo thanks for the clarification mate @shrihar Well it can handle the best Android has to offer and thats all I want besides what manufacturer does provide updates on time. Its already on froyo , should get gingerbread soon and as far as dev support goes its still a new kid on the block so will get there apparently. * +
