Seems with Google tightening up control of the Android OS some manufacturers are up in arms as it will now mean longer announcement to release times amongst other things. Samsung today are the 1st to drop out due to this and will focus on Bada and WP platforms: http://is.gd/3N5sJL 
major hit to Android but we still have HTC, LG, SE, ZTE etc... so its not all doom i guess. * +

shame really.. on that site it also says that they will not bring any newer android update for their existing android phones.. do you think its true? and I wanted to get a Samsung this time mostly for the cam quality.:( * +

theyd loose so much from doing this, i cant see this happening at all, its all about profit, and wp is the same, tight restrictions on hardware and Sammy wud have no control over update.... this wont happen, its tripe * +
