Just read the htc desire from september 2010 this phone now be using super-lcd and not the amoled which i would of loved to see wen it first came out at the start of 2010 most sites still saying its amoled dont know why as its wrong * +

old news, thats due to shortage of amoleds=, but according to tests by endgadget slcds were found to be better in some respect, both hav their pros and cons, doesnt make much difference really * +

It maybe old news but not everybody follows tech as closely as we do. The phone magazines claimed the reason behind SLCD was cos of a shortage of amoled screens. Both technologies have their pros and cons, some people like the over saturated colours in amoled, some dont. I prefer amoled myself but I Think in reality neither technology is better than the other cos both have their pros and cons * +
