There are Froyo roms, but I don't think they're stable and fully functional. X10 is NOT a cr*p phone and 2.2 would work great on it. It's nothing short of shameful if they abandon the X10 so quickly. * +

Oh well, the day i feel i require Froyo i'll just throw in a custom ROM, or just install JIT

I love my X10, but the only thing that me off is the lack of space for installing stuff, so the app2sd option in Froyo is a huge deal for me :( * +

I see even Desire users on 2.2 complaining about the same as there are still many apps that dont support Apps2SD, what you can do is follow the guide to enable on the X10, i'll bump up the topic for you. * +
