I will not be very detailed in what is next. I'll just show a way to enjoy xt720 to the fullest, with the eye also on the battery. First you need the phone to be rooted... look for tutorials or get universal androot app from market. Once the phone is rooted install Milestone overclock and raise the speed from 720Mhz to 1Ghz and 56 vsel. This is a stable config with the voltage of 550Mhz release. Get launcherpro or zeam launcher and the phone will fly. *

This great for most droids, Launcher Pro is excellent, im back to using ADW Launcher though, which is also pretty quick. *

I forgot to mention, while using also SetCPU at the same time with Milestone overclock, I got some instability and reboots. After uninstalling SetCPU things turned normal. This is a personal experience, this may vary. *
