Bought The unlocked phone 2 days ago..started the phone without a Sim card and updated the Oct security patch and again checked for android 13 update but says I have the latest software , do I have to put my Sim card to get the update? Or am I missing something?, it's a SM-S901E/DS model * +

yeah the S22 was the first to get OneUI 5.

use Frija or Samfirm to download it for your CSC and flash it yourself. * +

Been on android 13 a while now. Think it might be region locked and timed accordingly. Just need to wait it out. * +

he's probably well outside the region the phone's CSC belongs to, if so he won't see anything unless he does it himself. * +

Odin is pretty hard to screw up with and Samsung phones are difficult to hard brick * +
