Samsung's 2019 chip that was announced this month, the Exynos9820 does not support 5G mate, so give me my money. 
There is also a slim chance the new Snapdragon will support it, and if it does it will probably support some more advanced Asian networks.
5G will be rolled out much like 4G LTE was rolled out. There will be far too little coverage to even boast about 5G support next year for most Manufacturers. We will see Region specific models with 5G,but mainstream devices like Galaxy S10, Note10, iPhone, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro probably won't have 5G.
Qualcomm and Huawei will probably have their first 5G Modems out early to middle of next year for manufacturer's to start testing and implementing for late 2019/early 2020. * +

Anyway back to the Mate 20 Pro, I am now averaging over 24hours off charge with over 7hours SOT on this beast. Most Youtubers have also found thr Mate 20 Pro to absolutely obliterate the iPhone X S Max, Galaxy Note9, S9+ and OnePlus 6T in battery tests, in actual fact the standard Mate 20 seems to be the 2018/2019 battery benchmark now.
Anyway here are my latest stats, this is with 4G On, Alaways On Display turned On, BT always on, GPS in High Accuracy Mode, a lot of Web Browsing, Social Media etc.. With Performance Mode Activated The best part is that the 40W charger had me back at 100 percent from 2 percent in about 1hour, fastest Charging around to loving it
