So I have this olden goldie and it's very slow. Slow in all aspects. Going through the different screens or pages of the Nova launcher that I use. Even bringing up the keyboard is slow and so is the entire whatsapp experience. Does anyone know how I can drill down to the root of the issue. I tried a hard reset and still no luck. Also no pc can pick it up when connected to it. * +

i use the xposed module called prevent Running to stop some apps from running in the background after using them. * +

I am rooted. Although I havent run greenify this time round and the way my battery drains is just shocking. Can barely get 3hrs of music out of it. I will take another stab at google and see what i can find. Maybe i should do another reset and only install the necessary and observe things from there. * +

1st of all, it sounds like your S3 needs a new battery, there are tons of OEM and 3rd party S3 batt resellers i.e. RazTech (here in SA) and Samsung Smart Care.
A Stock Android ROM should run fine, I'd look for a nice KitKat ROM e.g. SlimKat.
The S3 is an oldie but the right ROM should give it the kick it needs. My old S2 still runs fine, granted its on JellyBean if I remember correctly. * +

Download cooler master from play store it closes apps and your battery last long worked for me when mine use to drain fast but since I got this app it's okay now :) * +
