I think the main problem with windows phones are their app ecosystem .with most apps updates dating back 2years ago .the platform will be buried soon *

Indeed. That is why MS is investing heavily in making apps for Android and iOS, but especially Android, there are over 10 MS apps in Play Store and they update them with more frequency than the ones on Windows Phone/Mobile. *
