Must say, I do miss the days in Android where it allowed selecting where stuff gets saved in terms of apps and games, but the disadvantage is if you had a lot of apps things got rather messy.

I remember times where my Xperia X10 got extremely messy and I had to sit and reorganise it. If Android OEMs were not so stingy with internal mem and put at least 32GB in low ends, 64GB in mid ends and 128 to 256GB in the high ends we would have far less of these issues. With even mid end phones capable of running top tier games, being able to record 4K and load huge websites, even people who dont use much memory are starting to run in to storage issues, and the overwhelming majority of people being in regions where internet is expensive, Cloud Storage is nowhere near practical.

LG with the V10 have done a great job, 64GB internal and in some regions prepackaging with 200GB MicroSDs, I hope its given the industry a nice wake up. Even I would have a hard time filling up over 250GB worth of memory. * +

Hey guys,

I want to run apps from my SD card, but that seems like it is not going to work.

I have seen it been done on youtube and they say it is supposedly doable on any android, but i have not managed this one my samsung android and amazon device (amazon os is a customized android).

would it be possible to get utorrent to save to SD card?

i have around 500mb space left on the amazon fire so any 1gb file is not possible?

I have figured out how to save to SD card thanx to 3mel and other peoples suggestions. Problem now is that films get corrupted after like an hour. it becomes unplayable. I think its because i have a unbranded Chinese SD card * +

don't bother EVER with cheap no-name memory cards, it's just not worth it. in fact don't be surprised if it packs up altogether in a few days if this is happening.
stick to SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung, Toshiba and any other decent manufacturer of note... *
