Which model? the I9505 LTE OR I9500 3G? I ask because if you plan on customising (Rooting, trying Custom ROMs etc...) the I9505 LTE is the better option, it also has better battery life, while the I9500 is a bit smoother with better sound quality thanks to the Octa Core Exynos CPU and Wolfson DAC which can be tweaked.
My overall suggestion though would be that if you can, rather get either a LG G2 or Sony Xperia Z1, both are from the same year as the S4, but feature the very powerful Snapdragon 800 CPU and much bigger batteries. * +

I9505 has a Quad Core Snapdragon 600 CPU. Yes, both have H1080P displays. Its a lovely phone, best body to screen ratio Samsung have ever done as despite the 5inch Display the body remains smaller than some 4.8inch Display phones.
I have the I9500 as a spare phone and its running well on Lollipop 5.0.1, but 3mel as he said has the model you are looking at, the I9505, and he doesn't seen very happy with it.
Mel, what are your main gripes? As in my opinion, its a good phone overall. * +
