My friend has downloaded lollipop but it won't install for some reason, it starts but then comes up with red triangle, they have done a factory reset and re-downloaded but still the same problem, I have the same phone htc m8 and mine worked perfectly, the only difference is mine is ee and they are unbranded, I've Googled and can't seem to find any solutions... Any help would be appreciated, thanks * +

is he rooted your mate ? once you've messed about a bit flashing stuff it takes a bit of work before you can use OTA updates again...

if it's not that, he might have had a bad download. if he can delete it it could work the next time... * +

No she isn't rooted I'm not either, I get what you are saying but she has already done a factory reset and then re-downloaded, I just can't understand what is going wrong, and Google search isn't coming back with any issues * +

if there's an equivalent to Odin for HTC maybe you can find the full file and update that way... fk knows what's going on there ! * +
