Yes a sharp scissors will do the trick, just be careful not to cut in to the gold metallic contact bit and you're fine * +

And I don't get this nano sim either, there is simply no need especially when phones are getting bigger, they might be getting thinner but the nano sim is the same thickness so it sure isn't to save space, it's just to make old phones obsolete * +

any privately owned phone shop will have a cutter to do it for... don't waste time trying to get it right yourself. *
