okay i have a samsung galaxy and when.i.switched it on the screen froze at start of set up.i cant do anything with it and have to take battery out to switch it off.when its froze it sometimes flashes and vibrates.i was im that device adminastrator thing and activated an app that blocks ur phone if lost.thats when it happened * +

Samsung repair services talked me thru how to do it.did it in under 5mins.for free * +

take battery out an put in,turn phone on.hold power and volume buttons in at the top and at same time the centre button.takes around a min then the recovery menu pops up * +
